Walmart will gladly sell you their store brand 512 GB card for under $60, when the switch 2 first released. Bad deal, better off getting a 256 GB card or wait for 512 GB cards to drop to like $50.

Unlikely to happen in the near future with current hardware outlook. This may be the best deal we get in a while... We are already seeing MicroSD shortages and it's possible that even more elevated prices are around the corner.

Walmart's store brand, onn, MicroSD Express 512GB currently going for $84.77 as of today (01/05/2025) and we haven't seen the $65 price point since October of last year.

Yeah I was shopping for a 512 or 1TB and the spike in prices around Nov 2025 has me hesitant. Research AI agreed prices for Micro SDs are very likely to stay high throughout 2026.

Silicon Valley finally got their Micro Center again. Going to go pick one up for my Samsung tablet we download movies for when traveling. Most streaming services will let you download stuff for a short time period.
