They ship the processor in a small padded envelope. No clamshell no other packaging. Just a processor in an envelope dropped in the mail.

One thing to beware with aaawave, their customer support is non existent. I've bought 4 of these CPU's from them, one arrived DOA, and i've been trying to get hold of somebody since before xmas, and i've had no response (email, web form, chat, calling (nobody ever answers from rma department, eventually goes to voicemail and nobody has called me back)

They shipped mine in the same envelope but they put that in a box. Works fine so far though.

Not surprised by this at all, I'm more surprised that there's people who actually bought a CPU from this extremely sketchy looking website

!!! IMPORTANT !!!
There is NO manufacturer's warranty on OEM CPUs. The warranty on those must be handled by the seller. So you are essentially getting just 30 days of support from Aaawave, and even that is iffy.

Mine came in a box or padded envelope, I can't remember, but it certainly also had a plastic clamshell.
