13"L x 2"W x 2"H
2 inches wide? The images show it's much bigger than that but I'm unsure of the actual dimensions

The dimension in the info section are often the outside package dimensions or totally made up. The product photos are often photoshopped products superimposed badly on a background image. The only things I look at are if the product photos or description give actual dimensions (they don't in this case) or customer review images (which show a standard-sized scooper in this case).

After breaking flimsy plastic scoopers I can only recommend rigid metal ones. They're not just more durable, the lack of flex makes them easier to use.

I have this exact scoop except I bought it at Meijer for a much higher price. Still worth every penny I paid for it.

I would say if it ever broke I wouldn't hesitate buying another one exactly like it, but this thing is never going to break.

Your grandchildren's grandchildren will be using this scoop. It will be your family's most prized family heirloom passed down from generation to generation.

I've been using a different brand that has the long long-ways slots to sift coals from wood stove ashes for 11 years.

Believe it or not the handle is flimsy. It is not full tang. The metal does not run through the handle. The handle is rubber and it bends.

We only use metal scoops nowadays. The plastic ones may break in the litter box while scooping. Metal is worth the extra $$.

Thought this was a perforated pizza peel at first. Definitely not for pizza...

I bought mine for 3x this price at Petsmart and it's absolutely worth it. I'm never buying a plastic scoop again. At OP's price it's a no-brainer.

I have two of these, in fact when I clicked the link it told me my last purchase date so definitely the same ones, and I have not had that issue at all.

The one I have that looks like this does have a full metal tang handle so maybe there are different ones that look identical?
