Good deal. My needs as a guitarist and bassist got to the point where I needed a large collection of pedals to play what was demanded of me. I got tired of lugging around a large pedalboard, so I bought one of these. I pre-program the effects needs for the songs I play and assemble them into a set list. Then I use the footswitches to go up and down the songs in the set list. If I need to change effects in the middle of a song, I just create another patch. It's also quite rugged and easily fits into my backpack. The software for it is good and easy to use. There are many free patches that can be downloaded and many others are pre-programmed and can be tweaked as needed.
Cons: The digital effects sound very good, but I would like it to be more intuitive. Also, while there is online documentation, it's not very clear.

I run a Axe FX3 and HeadRush Prime and sold this after testing to replace the Prime just for size alone.
Great sound, but the deal killer limitation is not enough serial/parallel effects allowed in the chain (DSP).
BTW, it's $50 more if you want the Boss BlueTooth adapter, phew.

Good points. Also, the Bluetooth connection is slow on my Samsung phone.

I wish there was a place I could go to that compares this to the competition. Like, why is this worth more than my Valeton GP 200?

I bought this one too(Amazon special price), but returned it for the same reasons stated.
The practice drums are really good on the Valeton too. Can't beat the value:price on this one.
I'll say one thing, if you love sweet delay and especially chorus, it is hard to beat a Boss and the GX-10 is especially clean sounding. I've had some of their older stuff like the GX-100? and it didn't sound clear to my ears.

But, put your low price parameter in Reverb (or shudder, eBay) and pick up a Mint boxed GX-10. I think I only lost about $30 selling it. Worth it to me to try out long term. Roxxxtar fee calc is my go to.

Happy hunting

The GX-100 is very similar to the GX-10. They can use the same patches. The GX-100 is more powerful.
