I also was curious about this.
Looks like from the description it mentions:
"[Multiple Control Ways]: You can control the strip light via 3 ways, using Smart Life APP, control box on the USB cable or intelligent voice control through Alexa and Google Assistant"
I am eager to try it because this is a good price for RGBIC but also don't want an App or to create an account. Since RGBIC can alternate colours between LEDs, I don't see how you would be able to control them with custom settings without an app.

"I've owned a few of these over the past few years - and my favorites are the ones that come with attached high quality built-in remote controllers. This one does not. The remote is pretty useless. The app is good enough and functions well, but in the age of *everything but the kitchen sink* (and perhaps even literally your kitchen sink) having an app? It's just one more thing on my phone. If I'm being honest, I'm also not a fan of the "music sync" feature using a microphone to pick up the audio in the room. If you want lights to sync to audio, you'd be better off with something that connects to an audio source directly."
