I want a folding phone so bad but I've gotten back into Bouldering and there is chalk everywhere at the gym. I can't imagine a folding screen would survive long. Tempting.
How long can a folding screen last? I'm waiting until that tech is perfected prior to spending $$ on something that will likely end up in the garbage bin!

Not worth it then, folding phones aren't quite there yet in terms of durability.

The Z Flip 6 is only rated IP48, so any particles smaller than 1mm can (and will) find their way inside. Chalk particles can be as small as 1 micron.

Ive had my zflip 5 since pre-order and it's still going strong today. Im a female who opens/closes this thing all day, checking social media, texting... but that close when I end calls is oh so satisfying

Had all the recent flips 3,4&5 ... all still working and handed down to the kids. i cracked the front screen some burnt pixel on the older ones inner screen but still solid phones !
Whoever says they are "not there yet" hasn't owned one.... or is an Apple person
