The shipping window kills it for me. Plus I have 7 jars in the pantry. So once again Amazon makes the decision for me. Good deal, they must be overstocked on traditional.
I don't care about the shipping window…it's a good deal!!
Can't do the single 5 again but it will let me add the 4 pack to cart.

Amazon is the worst packer...it's really incredible and I suspect it is all calculated. They save money on packing, eat (no pun) the losses, and still they come out $$ ahead. Walmart and Sams Club do a much better job packing.

What do they make these out of? Tomato skin? How can it be this cheap?

I ordered Rao marinara sauce a little while back and it taste phenomenal with real ingredients but costs 6x this price. At what point are you going to be happy with cheap ingredients in your body?
It might come as a surprise but expensive sauces don't actually cost much more to make than cheap ones. The cost (and quality) of the ingredients do not scale with the final product cost.
If you are that worried about health though, grow your own tomatoes (and garlic/herbs/onions if you have the space). It tastes better, is dirt cheap, and is as healthy as you make it. I have dozens of homemade jars canned, but sometimes you need a jar of the cheap stuff on hand.

Ordered 5 for a grand total of $5.25. Hoping none break.
it's like hoping for world peace. They are really good at packing toilet paper so it doesn't break, but cans or glass they leave as is

Last week I ordered an 18 count eggs from Amazon and 3 eggs were cracked. My eggs were delivered sideways. A month ago, I ordered a 3 pack of hand soap foam plastic bottles and about 30% of the liquid leaked out from one bottle. The dispenser wasn't pushed but it loosened open during delivery. From my experience, I would be cautious of tomatoes sauce glass bottle or fragile cheap items. I still order eggs from Amazon because the convenience though.
Prego tastes great though.
Tomato soap with eggs sounds great. Sounds like AMZ made it right though.

This has not been my experience over the years, but I don't buy much from Walmart anymore for that exact reason. They struck me repeatedly as very inefficient and wasteful with their packaging. Perhaps you are right that less stuff breaks, but the number of little items they consistently put in giant boxes was just too much.

It usually sits around $1.50. So .95 is a nice deal.

I get broken glass and dented cans for Target and Walmart too.

Shipping boxes are also thinner now.
