I got one of these. It was strong enough to blend my fructose mixed with water whereas another frother I had couldn't.

If you're just looking to froth your milk for coffee, you can get very cheap and inexpensive battery operated ones that are just the size of a BBQ lighter.
For me, the space saving is important.
And, two AA batteries runs it for months.

Got this a few weeks ago when it was also on sale. Quite happy with it so far! Does a good job.

My only gripe would be that it says to handwash the frothing wand. Would be nice if you could just remove it and stick it in the dishwasher, but I get it, it's a fairly delicate piece of metal.

Been using this for a few months now. Its 100% worth at 15$. The cup that it comes with is high quality - microwave safe too. So you basically just use that without having to use any other dishes. It probably sounds weird but you can just put your ingredients in it and turn it on and get your coffee ready till the time it makes your milk. Just makes life a lot simpler.

If looking to just make milk foam, I've seen videos where you can just use a French press to pump the milk until it foams

Frother/whisk is dishwasher safe and comes out when you pull. Everything is dishwasher safe except the power base for obvious reason. Details from official page:-

Hmmm, I dunno, I'm almost positive the included physical manual said not to dishwash it, but that would be great if I can.

EDIT: I'm wrong, I got confused because the manual says "For ease of cleaning, the lid, frother cup, and silicone grip are top-rack dishwasher safe. Do not put wand in the dishwasher". I assumed the wand referred to the whisk, but it refers to the base. It's just confusing because it doesn't mention the whisk at all in that section.

I got this one during BF, and it has been much better than anticipated. The kids are frothing everythign and it's holding up surprisingly well. It has the added benefit of the pitcher, which I'd say makes it much more versatile than the competition.

EXACTLY! In fact, I use it for latte purposes AND make "hot cocoa." Almond milk, cacao power & lil scoop of PB.

I bought it on BF as well (it was $12 net - still a bargain at $15). I'm very happy with it. Nice that there is a fuel gauge for the battery. I use it for latte's (milk frother) and blending for hot cocoa (mentioned above).

I don't know durability of the glass - I wish it was a little thicker. But that non-skid rubber shield if very helpful and easier to remove from microwave.

Got 3 of these last time and they work well. You have to cycle through all 3 settings to turn it off, not that thought out.
