I bought this in a refurb deal back in September, to use as a back up for my existing unit. There is no "refurbishment" done to these units, except maybe slapping a sticker on it. Mine had "non default" settings from whoever bought it originally. Initially it would not charge, either from solar or AC. I was eventually able to get it to start charging, but it would never charge from AC when in "AC 1st" mode. It had several random fault codes. They did end up taking it back and sending me another, but it was a painful process of back and forth emails, where they kept requesting videos of my settings. It was over a month before they finally agreed to send a replacement. I would avoid.
