These are garbage. I bought a set earlier, and returned them.
First is a single small screw that come with the Unassembled pan. Even with thread locker I was afraid I would strip the tiny screw trying to secure the handle.
Second: I have an induction stove. I had to use a higher than normal setting as the amount of ferrous material in these is minimal.
Third, the coating flaked in a week. This was the last straw. There are better choices

I have bought this pan twice. The first one last over 20 months. I'm using the second one, it still works well after 10+ months. I do agree that it requires higher heat setting for induction stoves, but that doesn't bother me much.

What do you recommend? I just bought one of these last week as my last nonstick is on it's last leg but I need a big nonstick pan as well. I feel like all nonstick kind of don't last too long with regular use. Just trying to get a gauge of what people like for a nonstick pan.

I don't know what these are made with, but the coating will eventually fail and flake. They claim it's not PTFE or PFAS but how the heck can we be sure? It's DEFINITELY not ceramic. Never seen anything else scratch and peel exactly the same way as Teflon

I buy them every 18 months or so, on average. No skillet lasts forever, these are adequate for a price.

Better option cheaper for 8", slightly more expensive for 10.5". At the worst, it's no less safe than this product in OP.
Mainstays is even cheaper.

Trying to avoid Teflon coating. Granite and ceramic is safer if swallowed.

Cons: GRANITE May contain PTFE (Teflon) or other chemicals, performance can degrade with use, not as chemically pure as ceramic.

These aren't garbage if you read the instructions and use them as intended. Do not nuke it with high heat and avoid sharp utensils and they will last a long time.

Teflon flakes are safe when swallowed. You could intentionally scrape the pan and put some teflon flakes on your cereal and they would pass right through you. There have been and still is probably concerns with the manufacturing of them.

The Carote "granite" pan is likely not any healthier of an option.

Don't buy cookware with detachable handles. It's not going to hold up long term.

I don't know what folks mean by long term, but usually I'll switch out our non-stick pans between 16-24 months depending on use.

I have purchased carote brand before (using one right now) and it's perfectly fine.

Just cooked some ham and eggs in this pan. Seems good quality and everything works great so far. Non stick works well, I've burnt some cheese on it and it slid right off. The single screw-on handle is working find so far, but over time might be a weak point. (but at this price if it lasts a year, just replace the whole pan). For the price ( paid $15 for the white pan before x mas) its a great option. I really like the fact it is smooth all around. No rivets/bumps for food to get stuck on.
