They have made these such a nightmare to use. If you try to use it on something exactly $10, it will cancel the transaction and you won't get your certificate back. You can bother customer service and then they'll tell you to make an order and they will apply a $10 discount. Only after you make the order will they mention it has to be something shipped by Best Buy and other stipulations. I ended up just buying printer paper because everything else is so overpriced.

It does not have to be shipped by Best Buy. I bought printer ink and it was sold & shipped by HP. I'm guessing it depends on the seller.

Make sure auto renew IS OFF before applying and you may get option for one free month if you turn on auto renew. I did this and got the extra free month.
