Something like this helped me yesterday, because I needed to reset the password on an unraid server, I was able to plug it into my phone, and use Google files to reset it. It added some stupid phone folders, but it worked fine.
Wouldn't it be great if people would suggest like to like items? Those are USB 3.0 and rated at 2A and only 1GBs. So not even the same class of product.
