Deal Details
Adorama has Samsung 990 PRO 2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 Internal SSD Bundles on sale listed below. Shipping is free.

Available Options:
2TB Samsung 990 PRO SSD (with Heatsink) + Green Extreme Anti-Static Wrist Strap [adorama.com] for $169.99
2TB Samsung 990 PRO SSD + Green Extreme Anti-Static Wrist Strap [adorama.com] for $159.99

IMPORTANT BACKORDER & SHIPPING NOTE:
Please note that the SSDs are currently marked as "Temporarily On Backorder" with an expected availability/ship date of 03/2026. However, the bundled Wrist Strap is currently in stock.

Potential Risk / How Adorama Bundles Often Work:
Since one item is in stock and the main item is backordered, there is a possibility that Adorama will ship the Wrist Strap first and charge a small partial amount for it (approx. $5).
  • If the SSD comes back in stock, you will be charged the remaining balance and it will ship.
  • Risk: If Adorama is unable to fulfill the SSD order in the future and cancels that portion, you might be left with only the wrist strap and the partial charge for it.
  • Please order with caution and understand that the SSD shipment is not guaranteed to happen immediately.
Key Features:
  • Read Speeds up to 7,450 MB/s
  • Write Speeds up to 6,900 MB/s
  • PCIe Gen 4.0 x4, NVMe 2.0

This deal sucks big time.
It is a phantom sale that you cannot really buy.....it is always BACKORDERED.

Backorder deal is much better than sold out deals. At least you are on queue and guaranteed to get one. If they use Sold out system, you will never get anything. Why? Because once it's back in stock, scalpers bots will not give you a chance at all.

Wasn't there a desl 6 months back, people got the least desirable item of a combo (but in think a different company)?

Like this could be, $9.99 plus shipping for a wrist strap, drive cancelled.

Note that nvme with healsink won't fit to some motherboards. My motherboard has stackable two slots and the cover that goes on top of the stack is heatsink itself

The performance will typically be better with a manufacturer-installed heatsink. Just don't install the cover if you want the heatsink version.

Pricing seems to be "moving" on both listed unit combos ($234.xx), so be advised if watching/considering these for order/backorder.
Ok, via the deal links the pricing remains, I refreshed that same page from viewing them earlier and the pricing had gone up. 🤔

Don't matter anymore. There are better deal to be had that won't be backordered for 2+ months lol.

These deals make me sad everytime they pop up. Still one of the better deals lately but I remember getting this exact drive just at $100 after tax immediately after it released. Still my main gaming drive and has worked flawlessly for everything but so hard to justify at these prices.

what is Adorama's record on fulfilling the back orders in the past? Anyone knows or had experience?
