I have no issue with most no name products, but a surge protector is not one I would gamble with.

Agree. Got the Belkin 12 outlet last week for $29.

What are you talking about certified?

Clamping Voltage is what matters and it's not specified which means it's probably not acceptable. Joules mean very little. Best Clamping Voltage is 330v. Anything more is not as good though 400v is sometimes acceptable.
