- Steam is the world's largest digital distribution platform for computer games and is owned/operated by Valve Corporation (the developers behind several classic video games including Half-Life, Portal, Team Fortress, Counter-Strike, Left 4 Dead, Dota 2 & more).
- Each Certified Refurbished Steam Deck has been thoroughly tested to the same high standards as our retail units. Every device goes through a complete factory reset, software update, and an extensive examination involving over 100 tests at one of Valve's facilities. Among the tests are all controller inputs, the audio system, the screen, and internals. Battery health is also assessed to ensure proper functionality and longevity.
- All refurbished units meet or even exceed the performance standards of new retail units. Although they may have minor cosmetic blemishes, they provide a reliable, high-quality gaming experience at a lower cost.

1tb = Anti-glare screen
512gb = Glossy
I went with glossy and swapped the SSD for a 2tb.
Community Reviews
The Steam Deck OLED stands out as a compact, premium handheld with strong game compatibility, unique trackpads, and an OLED screen that is the main visual upgrade. The open SteamOS setup makes it easy to tinker, stream, and even expand storage later, with 1TB models getting an anti glare display and the option to add a large microSD card or swap the SSD. The main knocks are its chunky size, heavier feel, and the 1280x800 resolution, which can make text look soft. Battery life also gets called out as the one area that could be better, making it a strong fit if those tradeoffs do not bother you.
