In for one. This might come in handy. I picked up a lot of small inflatables after Christmas and this might help me get them all going.

Picked up the *medium* Hrensaw version on a deal a couple of weeks ago and it worked great for outdoor xmas lights.

Too bad that although this is a size Large it is shorter than the medium Hrensaw (somebody correct me if wrong). I coulda used another inch (that's what she said) for the Ryobi power thingy + 4ah battery I used for the lights.

Still, it's wider and longer so I'm in for one (what she said).

Hrensaw - Medium:

I could use a handful of these for Xmas lights, because I did fight rain/gfci's tripping with my lights this year. However, I'm struggling to spend $10 on these. I'm thinking about experimenting with modifying these little guys for $2.50 each, though the bright yellow lid is certainly not ideal.

Thanks for the tip. Most of the colors are the same $2.50. (So you could choose a white lid with either black or clear tub.)

This is what I'd been doing for last 7 years until I got the Hrensaw version a few weeks ago. I live in drizzly Seattle and worked pretty well, I'd say. I ended up having to drill a couple of holes in the bottom for drainage because some water did get in the "ports". I'm sure I coulda spent more energy making them more water-tight. The rubber gaskets on the Hrensaw and OP's Ticonn handle this well, tho. If I needed more than one or two I'd stick with what you're considering 😁

I used this box with intense rain this year, everything stayed dry, it's great. Might not need to design yourself!
