I have this, it keeps good time, looks sharp, inexpensive so you don't have to worry about it - and beyond showing the time and date it doesn't distract you with other information, only the time

Does it have a very loud tick?

I'm not who you're replying to, but I also own it, and relatively speaking, yes, it's fairly loud (compared to my other watches). I don't notice it when I wear it, but when I take it off at night, if I put it on my nightstand near ear level, I can definitely hear it and often move it.

With that said, I agree with the other poster - solid watch for the price. Looks great with jeans, etc. Nice color and strap.

Thanks OP. I used my Amazon delivery day and saved as additional amount. $26.71 before tax.

I have some moderate (<$1k) priced watches but I bought a Timex Eco Drive and a Timex Weekender around this price point through past slick deals and I really enjoy them. I am ISO a leather slip-through strap for my weekender which doesn't cost as much as the watch originally did.

This is a good price for a daily watch. You can wear it without worrying about it. I have this one (swapped out band for a solid brown leather and it looks great) and another Timex Expedition (dark gray face) (and other watches). Both have been solid for a while.
It's solid, reliable with drawbacks (battery drains when using Indiglo, noticeable tick in silent room) but at this price-point, it's a no-brainer.

Watches like these are interesting because if you're willing to shop on...certain chinese retail sites then you can get something that trounces watches like these for roughly the same price.
The only real draw that might make you consider this one is the Indiglo. It makes these watches beasts for using in the dark.

Is this a serious question? Timex has been pumping out serious bangers lately. They are a monster in the industry.

I can honestly say I haven't seen a Timex in a good 20 years. My last analog watch was a Timex.

I just got it, the watch looks great, but returning as its too small on my wrist, should have thought about 40mm.

To me the Indiglo is important as I want to see the time in the dark. Unfortunately the watch like this I had and liked the indiglo stopped working. Do other brands offer something similar for around the same price?
