Personally, I would shy away from these sub-100 benches.I don't know about this bench specifically. But I made this mistake once. They don't last, and doing anything slightly over 100 on them just feels sketchy AF. If it were me, I'd spend the extra cash and get either RITFit or Keppi. They break the $300 mark, but at least you know they fall over on you mid-press.

If you're doing light weight dumbell presses you'll probably be fine. If you're a new year resolutioner and just starting, skip the bench and buy a couple of cheap dumbells, come back to the bench if you stick with it.

It's very small. It's 12" off the ground. Better for a child or smaller female.

720mm back means your head will be hanging off of this thing, zero support. That's a tiny man photoshopped onto that bench. I have a similar cheap bench. I'm lurking in these pages as I need a new, adult size bench.

you don't need the bench to do that, just ask gemini "Make me look more muscular" and give it an image Frown
That's just what MERACH did, those plates are half his size, and they say 20lb on the sides. I guess they don't know to check that in China.

When you guys return this junk make sure you cite the BS pictures. They need to get a handle on this problem. Blow up hot tubs with four torsos in it, entertainment centers that look full blown with knick-knacks on them, turn out to be mini sized. Its getting terrible.

How did this "deal" get 126 upvotes? It's only $10 off, there are less reviews on the product page itself, the reviews say it is small and wobbles, people in the comments are saying don't do it because of the low quality.

Smells like manipulation.
It's crap, no way it's worth the 152+ upvotes it has now. Fishy russian troll farm at work maybe, or just straight up cash to SD

Oh boy, I just received this bench and after reading some of these comments I'm on the fence about opening it. I was looking for a budget incline bench and thought this was it but now not sure. What if I do do get to that magical 991 lbs, hope I still works
let us know if its a joke or somewhat measures up to the presentation

Comments here are hilarious. People who can't read dimensions or watch the videos that clearly show its size. People who run with a couple of minor criticisms from very few reviews. People who trash something because it's not ten times the price of name brands. They get so angry over you considering a cheap bench. It's almost as bad as reading comments on cookies and other snacks on slickdeals, where every ingredient is poison and will kill your children 🤣. Dude it's a cheap bench. The shortcomings are obvious, but it looks good for the price. You want to be under six feet for a comfortable time and don't lift anything too heavy. It's not that difficult to figure it out. And the silly amateur people giving advice saying you shouldn't be bench pressing barbells as a beginner. Dude look at the pictures. You literally can do hundreds of other things, including pressing with dumbbells on it. It's a bench. You can even just sit on it and eat ice cream.

You will get what you pay for with this item. No way it holds up to 900lbs. It is small and cheaply built. There are better options out there.

I have something similar to this design from COVID days and it has held up well. I'm only 165 pounds small/medium build, so can't speak for much heavier folks. To nip pick, the bench part could be a bit wider.

I ordered this. I got it. It's very durable for a piece of furniture. It's very lightweight for an exercise bench. It sits about 16" high. For a weight bench it is a bit narrow. I could see a smaller than average or generally slender person using it with some dumbbells easily. It would be a perfectly fine girl bench or old people bench to do light exercise at home.
I sure as hell wouldn't trust it with 900lbs on it and it's narrow enough that my shoulders wouldn't be well supported.
But I bought it because it looked like it would be a fun accessory for bedroom extracurricular activities. No, you're not gonna get a follow up after testing it but I expect it'll perform admirably as the narrow seat and adjustable back are exactly what I was looking for.
