I bought this around black Friday. I don't think I felt any more warmer while taking out snow. But inside the house, I could sure feel the warmth. So I think it is good for mild winter weather conditions but no where close for the kind of cold you get in the upper mid west.

I have a few cheap ones and they really need the heat on the arms not the body.

These are good to put under the layers. I can see how no one will feel the heat with other sweaters etc under the heated vest. No wonder they won't feel warm and barely feel the heat.

I'll stick with my $12 heated vests from aliexpress, thank you.

edit: having said that, it is nice that this comes with a 10k mAh battery (although I imagine most SDers have too many of those lying around at any given moment), and that it can use USB battery banks as a power source, whereas some pricier ones require proprietary batteries (unless you add adapters)

For what it's worth, the Costco stores in my area (Seattle) have the 32 Degrees version for $40 in store. It has heating elements in the chest whereas this one does not. Same size battery included. They only stocked it in a medium, large, and XL but unfortunately pretty much all the mediums are out of stock in my area although I did manage to find a couple. Plenty of larges and XLs. I use the past tense word of "stocked" because from what it sounds like, this is an item on its way out seasonally so I doubt they're getting any more in.

I haven't used it yet but did try it on for sizing. I'm a 210lb 5'10" guy with broad shoulders and fairly athletic build, and the large was pretty much spot-on if it were just a regular vest, but heated vest should be more form fitting. I'm probably going to stick with the medium. I bought the Walmart Hart 20v heated jacket about a month ago or so in a large and it didn't feel like it got that hot, until I was bending so the heating element was directly against my back and then I felt the warmth. Similarly if I was leaning against a wall. These are supposed to fit snug but comfortable with minimal layering underneath so you might consider sizing down. Also FYI on the Hart jacket, I did consider swapping for a medium but the battery is just too weird to have in the pocket. It's a 20v tool battery sitting in your pocket.
