It smears on glass and the fragrance is just ok, imo. Each to their own!
I've tried it diluted and using it near.
I prefer the Turtle Wax hybrid ceramics.
For dry application you really gotta do a small area at a time and buff it almost immediately with another dry microfiber. Follow the instructions and it works really well.

I dilute and use as a drying aid, then buff off with microfiber towel. The shine it leaves is incredible.

With Griot's I usually spray one squirt on a microfiber cloth, spread it on a panel, then immediately wipe it out with another microfiber cloth. Takes ~30-40 seconds per panel, and I can wax my entire car in under 10 minutes. Then I park in the garage overnight which gives it enough time to cure before exposing it to sunlight/rain/elements.
Griot's suggests doing the application twice (2nd one after 24 hours), however I have not found the need to do so. Instead, I apply twice (immediately, one after the other) for the heavy soiled areas like rooftop and lower panels.
That said, at $26 this is a pretty good deal. If I did not have a decent supply of Griot's already, I would've jumped on the deal.
Either of these will last with proper care. Either you park your car indoors, or you use a rinseless cleaner like Griot's speed shine or Optimum No Rinse (ONR) every 3-4 weeks to clean the car.
