These dull out super quick. Great for the DIYer that will seldom use them, terrible for the DIYer that uses tools somewhat often.

Cobalt (not Kobalt) is harder and better for frequent use

Been using Dewalt bits for a long time and they are great bits. I purchased about 5-6 various bit sets during the Christmas season 2 years ago for $10-14 and still have backups but I really need some sets that have the 1/4" drive bits for my impacts and drivers. Unfortunately I missed any great sales this past season as I didn't purchase any.

Cobalt is great for drilling into harder steels, but is expensive and very brittle and easy to snap. Best used in a drill press. Cheap bits like this in this deal are fine for wood, plastic, and even aluminum and being so cheap can be considered as disposable.
