Edit: Seems like this is a completely different fitting geared solely towards the Blackstone grills that are by default designed to use the smaller 1 LB propane tanks(on the go models); this hose allows them to use the standard 5 LB propane tanks as well that are most commonly available in all the stores.
For my case, I probably need an universal hose with a 3/8" female flare fitting preferably from a reputed company as apparently these break quite easily from cheaper companies and the regulators have a safety mechanism to regulate the propane flow and it won't work. Hope this helps someone.
