At my store, if you price match you can't use coupons afterwards. Don't know if that is my store only or if it's universal. Also, I've not known coupons to be multiple use as they are tied to your rewards acct. I seem to remember the coupon would disappear after you use it, or it just wouldn't work again.

That is not a Staples policy AFAIK. a you're still over the threshold, not using more than one coupon on the $45 amount. Their policy makes no mention of not using coupons with a price match. We often find stores making up their own rules, which is not allowed, even if they think it is.

Yes, Staples allows both price matching and using coupons, but they are applied sequentially: coupons and instant savings are deducted from the Staples price first to get your "net price," and then that net price is compared to the competitor's price, Staples explains. If the competitor's price is lower than your net Staples price after coupons, they'll match it, but remember that competitor rebates/gift cards aren't counted in their match, Staples notes. But my experience in my stores is the coupon can be used with the price match. I'd point out, if you're matching to Target they if you spend $50 there you get a $15 TGC, so not allowing a $15 coupon at Staples is BS in my opinion.

PS, it is a FIVE DIGIT code, the cashier can simply punch in the code on the register. Of course getting a nice cashier if you have a difficult store is another matter. The coupon may or may not fall off your app after since it is indeed multi use. I'll try to find a printable bar code coupon that would work in store too.

This has pretty much always been their price match policy. Cashiers can apply it after price matching if they don't know their own policy but could lead to them being disciplined and/or the price matching going away entirely (like it has for the 110% and the staples online price matching). Not really something that should be encouraged on SD, IMO.

Not encouraging anything, just stating real world experience. Have had managers not blink an eye when they've checked me out. Do what's best for you, but don't discourage people from at least trying, the system allows it and I doubt anyone at most stores really cares after the fact. The 110% PM going away had nothing to do with this, so fear tactics aren't needed.

Your OP literally says to price match: "In store, buy $45 of goods pre tax having price matched for best values."

You didn't know their price match policy earlier today. Now you do. Do what's best for you.

I posted their policy, it's ambiguous at best. and I have no issue at my store. So really have no interest in your playing Staples enforcer. Do what you're comfortable with, it may be YMMV, but telling people not to do it when it's allowed at many stores and the SYSTEM ALLOWS it, is not my issue. The system could be programmed NOT to allow it, and it isn't.

no, you'd have spend $75 to use both coupons, can't stack two $/$$ off coupons, each must meet its spend threshold on its own.

yes, look at Tide packagings using IN STORE PICK UP price on their site, not ship to home prices.
