It does not have PPS

PPS is kind of just a more advanced form of voltage control. All PPS is PD compliant, but not all PD has PPS.All PD devices support the common voltages 5,9,20 etc. PPS allows finer control for more efficient and faster charging.

Looks like type A has it's own 18W and 2 type C sharing 100W. when using 2 type C at the same time, one max at 60W and one at 45W.

Sorry for the stupid question but what is PPS? Why such a big deal?
Modern Android devices and laptops require PPS, without it, you're stuck with fixed slow charging rate unless your device is exactly compatible with your chargers pre-defined voltage and amps.

Because Samsung devices require PPS support for their implementation of fast charging.

At the foundational level, PD is based on fixed power profiles of certain combinations of voltage and amperage. PPS, and AVS, in the latest spec, allow for varying those properties as requested by the devices being charged.

PPS and AVS are both optional features within the PD spec, so companies are free to implement, or not implement, support in their products.

If you don't own, or plan to own, a Samsung or other device that utilizes it, no big deal. They will still work with basic PD, but simply won't charge as quickly.
Although commonly associated with Samsung devices which refer to the Programmable Power Supply (PPS) standard under their 25W Super Fast Charging 1.0 and 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0 branding, other devices such as Google Pixel phones will similarly utilize PPS functionality.

Also not mentioned, but worth noting, is that for now Adjustable Voltage Supply (AVS) is primarily associated with the newest Apple devices.

Good luck!

Have this around the house, great charger and many ports. I didn't think having chargers around the house would matter much but it's really convenient not having to charge only at a specific place! Also works great for travel albeit on the larger side

Based on this screenshot, if nothing's plugged into the USB-A port, then you get 60W+60W if both USB-C ports are used:

Thanks OP. In for 1. I don't care about PPS for the things I'm going to charge.

I stand corrected. Thank you for correcting me. I wish more manufactures include this kind of wattage breakdown on their chargers.

My Baseus charger started not working correctly after only a year or two. A problem multiple other Amazon reviewers have. Not really a brand I have interest in again unless they've increased in quality.

This 100W 3-port wall charger for $27 may be the closest equivalent from Iniu (a brand which I also like and have had good experiences with).

But it's the Samsung users who doth protest most loudly Big Grin

I must also correct myself -- did not realize that under PD 3.2, AVS is mandatory, while PPS remains optional.

So over time, I suspect a lot more than Apple users will be able to utilize it. And it might also serve to quiet the "no PPS" chants.

But on the whole, solid, standards-compliant chargers at a reasonable price like these appear to be, and the IKEA units are good for users.

They may not be cutting edge, have fancy screens (or cost a gazillion dollars), but for most people who will never know the difference, they'll serve well.

Users are throwing out a ton of acronyms without definition. For the uninitiated (like myself):
PPS = Programmable Power Supply
PD = Power Delivery (e.g., USB-PD 3.0)
AVS = Adaptive Voltage Supply (sometimes called Adaptive Voltage Scaling)

It's kinda open-ended, like OPP(multiple P's leave a world of possibilities)...

My Samsung Galaxy S device says "Super Fast Charging 2.0" when using this device, so, you're wrong.

Can you confirm the model of your device? Some newer Samsung devices were updated to support 45W SFC 2.0 on chargers which lacked PPS, but which instead supported the 15V Power Delivery mode at up to 3A. This was a potentially significant improvement in compatibility, particularly since it should have eliminated the requirement for 5A e-marked charging cables as well as PPS-capable chargers.

Good luck!
