I have one of the stick guys, just an older model. A few notes.

Don't expect a powerhouse. This vacuum will pick up a good deal of fur, but don't expect it to get anywhere near 100%.
Performance on carpet isn't great. Feels like on low pile the brush doesn't get close enough. On high pile carpet is struggles to have enough power.
Doesn't work great picking up and using on furniture. Any loose material immediately causes problems. Our couch is has relatively firm material that doesn't pull up much and this vac will seize on it. In comparison my Bissel plug in can run over our couch with 0 issue.
Works best on hard flooring.
The ability to break down the stick vac is great! Easy to clean and works good for light car cleaning.
The wall mounting hardware is useless

If you get this. Don't throw out your plug in vacuum as this is definitely not a full time replacement. This is more of the easy to grab vac for quick cleanups

Great price. Would pick this up if I didn't already have this awesome vacuum which I paid $199 that didn't include the hand vac

Run away from this stick vac! It sucks and not in the way you want it to. I actually threw mine away after 6 months! Everything else I've bought that's Ryobi 18+ has been great- But not this.

How is the suction (Pa rating)? I love the convenience of my Shark stick but the suction is never as good (or even close) to the corder vacuum I always end up pulling too Wink

Can you expand on 'it sucks'? What was the problem?

I saw the vac daily deals and this is the one that struck me too as the standout deal. I watch the prices pretty closely recently. Tempted.

Suction strength has been great. So much so that i gave away my other no name stick vac.

Not sure what problems you had with yours but my experience has been the opposite. Going strong after a year.

The hand vac is not worth the space IMO.

Is this the best ryobi stick vac model? I've been wanting to go Ryobi and replace my shark stick vacs which have a new battery every version and die very fast.

Ryobi makes so many different models of stick vac and they range from terrible to great.

I have the 18V ONE+ HP Advanced WHISPER Series Stick Vacuum Model PBLSV719B [homedepot.com] which has great suction. I usually don't need to use the high mode and just use medium.

I got it from this deal:

I'm on my second Ryobi stick vac since they first came out. I use them in construction and I abuse them. They have sucked up everything imaginable including mountains of Sheetrock dust. I have zero complaints. It's what I use in my own home.

I just got one of this on ebay
brand new
I have tons of batteries so I choose this one .

It works well I have tiles no carpet
you can turn on and off the brush
I would buy it again
I payed $139 with no battery or charger
this sounds like a good deal if you need the other stuff
What you can do to increase the suction to reduce the thickness of the filter even without doing that works good
the filter replaceable but it is thick if you reduce the size of it will have more suction
very convenient to use !!
