I stand corrected. I went by the pictures only. My hat came this evening and the light is actually cool. It's pretty bright at the highest level and definitely can be helpful at night. You could change a tire with in the dark or pick up after the dog. Big Grin The hat also keeps your head and ears warm, too. For $8, it's a good buy! I do want one without the light, too.
