Just sharing this since it always comes up: This membership offer is only available to NEW Sam's Club members in the USA. It is not valid for membership renewals, for those with a current membership, or for those who were Sam's Club members less than 6 months before the current date. To check your renewal date, please check your billing statement or your online account, or chat with an associate.
meh pricing, goes for $15 frequently sometimes bundled with pizza or cookie tray
I haven't seen that deal in a while. The last time I took advantage of it was as a T-Mobile customer, but I'm hoping for a better offer. Recently, I received an email from my work that mentioned discounts through TicketsatWork. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to sign up by the time I checked. The membership fee was only $19.99, and it included a $20 travel and entertainment credit.
Last time this popped up I bought it, waited a day, and turned off auto-renewal. Gave me a big warning blah blah blah and I said that's fine. Still have the account for another 3 or 4 months.....only reason I bought it was for the Disney gift cards 10% off and I already have a CostCo membership.
Anyone figured out what they're tracking on accounts? I assume it's address because I've tried different emails and my wife's name and still says it's only available to new members.

Same here. I tried different emails, some from years ago, and credit cards and it still says only available to new members.
My old membership expired like 2 years ago, at some point of this process the sites tells me I "look familiar" and ask me if I want to renew the membership (I was already logged in). I just straight up lied to the site and said I wanted a new membership. It went thru.
Don't know why they had to ask me, felt silly.

Same company.
I think it could be payment records, credit card information. Just tried with new email, new mailing address, failed 😞
