Many of you who have the CHASE INK card are aware of the $20 monthly credit towards an instacart pickup or delivery order (I typically do pick up at ALDI for my $20, I spend $35 to avoid fee and pay $15 oop rather than pay $5 in fees and get nothing for it by spending less than $35).

Anyway, many of you also know if you link your CHASE INK card at INSTACART, you get three free months of Instacart+ with the initial linkage of the card to your account.

I first linked my card in late September 2024, in December 2024, when my 3 months were almost up I was offered a $19.99 special to get the Instacart+ for a year, which was a no brainer with the free $20 credit each month from Chase Ink and Peacock service.

My one year was up on 12/26/25 and I cancelled it about 12/12 after I did my December grocery order with the $20 credit.

This week I signed in to my account and once again it offered me the $19.99 special for INSTACART+ for a year. So now I have it once again with all the perks I mentioned above.

So if you've recently cancelled with a situation like mine where your discounted year was up, take a look to see if you can score it again for $19.99 for one year. Worth that alone for the Peacock, the $240 in free groceries is a major windfall over the course of a year.

It's YMMV if they offer you the $19.99 one year offer, I've gotten it TWICE now with my Chase Ink. Last membership lapsed about 2 weeks ago. Logged in today and was offered it again after a 2 week free trial. No brainer.

To clarify for those trying to understand the $20 credit. It's not a $20 credit to your chase ink card, it's a $20 credit to use on a grocery order on INSTACART EACH MONTH with your linked Chase Ink card in your profile. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY WITH THE CHASE INK CARD, you can use Instacart Gift Card credit to pay or the credit card of course.

Understood, last question. I have two INK cards, can I some how get $40/mo credit or is that not feasible.

If you have one Ink Cash and one Ink Business Unlimited, you can add them both to your Insta, enroll them, and get both credits each month. If you have two identical Ink cards, you cannot do this, but you could add the second card to a different Insta account.

Don't know the answer, only have one. But no harm in trying to see what happens if you add the second to your profile, can always remove it.

PS: You can only apply ONE CREDIT per order, so if you did get 2 x $20, you can't stack them.

Alright so. Added both. It increased my trial to 6 months. So hopefully i will get $20 per card in two transactions in instacart. Bro big ups. I didn't even consider this!

Here's the thing, you can have as many trials as you have Chase co-brands, no-annual fee business cards, and personal Mastercards, but when the free trial runs out the Instacart annual fee may still be worth it especially if you have many Chase offers stacked every month!

The Mastercard offer is only a $10 credit on your 2nd order each month, no where as good, and certainly doesn't justify paying full price for Instacart+ IMO.

As for Chase, yes, you will still come out ahead, but obviously getting the $19.99 yearly Instacart+ membership is the top prize. A huge MM with $240 in 12 x $20 monthly credits, reduced fees and a year of Peacock Streaming. I'd certainly try to see if you can get that first before signing up for a full price membership. I'm glad I cancelled mine, if I'd just let it auto renew, I'd be paying lots more right now for the one year.

no, must be ordered on the Instacart platform, not using Grub Hub platform.

Worth checking even if you don't have a chase ink card.

I'm an annual member that did the costco deal for $79 for the year. Still had a promo on the account to bill to a mastercard with a $10 credit for every second order. Put a random mastercard on file and got a success message that the promo was activated.

You're lookin' at around a 25% markup, sometimes more, with Instacart versus in-store prices.
Unless you're packin' a 30% discount, Instacart ain't worth the trouble since you add in the service fee, delivery fee, and so on...

Yes! You'll get a 14 day free trial and then they'll charge you 19.99 for a FULL YEAR at the end of 14 days. CONFIRMED by me. You'll have access to PEACOCK and your $20 Ink Chase credit to use immediately upon accepting.

It should show a price somewhere, make sure you see the $19.99 offer. don't pay $100.
I'm not seeing the $19.99 offer... at least not yet. It's saying it renews for $99/year.
UPDATE: Created a business account and added my Chase Ink Cash card. Got 3 months free... but says will charge me $99 in 3 months so I will cancel before then and see if I get this offer for a year for $19.99 at some point.

As the OP stated you can avoid most fees with a pickup order and get ahead.

Well I signed up for free trial. Didn't even ask for payment method or anything. Hopefully in 15 days I'll have the $19.99 offer.

I wonder if it matters to get the offer by fake canceling during the free period.
Anyone try that?

I believe the trial continues until it expires, even if you cancel in advance.
