Cat pumps cost more than this entire setup so that is unlikely. Honda engine is also preferable in this price range but again you will likely end up paying more

Mine arrived with the wand having the only superficial "damage," but the threads were fine due to the plastic cap. It was near poking out of the box - the box wouldn't have lasted much longer. The wand was not bent or anything. Simpson obviously doesn't design their packaging for shipping.

Oil from the pump will leak from the sight glass. Customer service is a joke.

Tighten the sight glass or remove it and add some Teflon tape or silicone RTV sealant into the threads.

Good price for the specs. Cat or no, any triplex pump is a gamechanger if you're used to an axial setup.
