So this has a nonstick coating on the carbon steel instead of just being carbon steel that you can season to make a non toxic non stick surface? Did i get that correct? Would buy if no coating

Had purchased this during earlier deal with same prices, returned it after 2-3 usage, material is not at all good when it heats up it is changing the default shape from bottom and creates uneven surface.

Is it possible/simple to strip the nonstick coating and just have the carbon steel exposed to be seasoned and used?
