I bought mine for use to record my kids sporting events. Sometimes I set up in really awkward spots and having uneven terrain really highlighted the lack of stability. I took it to a mountain arena and did some hiking and tried to set up to get sunrise shots and trying to crank up the telescoping rod, the gears were clunky and the plastic internals broke after a couple of uses.

I bought a ravelli tripod prob 10-15 years back. Sturdy. Still got it. Still have to remember to periodically tighten the hardware - being one of its flaws. But it still works
