I maybe wrong but with out the game being optimized as you call it. then yeah it still will run like it did on S1 that would be a bad thing considering for 1.99 your not going to get the support to enhance S2 running these.
Games that ran as intended in Switch 1 don't automatically run better, they're generally intended to run at a given rate and something 30fps won't automatically become 60fps without a patch. But something that's supposed to run at 30fps and fails to do so consistently will generally be consistent in Switch 2.
Of course a smooth framerate would be preferable and you probably get that if you play on a Switch 2, but I'd argue it's still worth playing on Switch 1, despite the frame rate hiccups.
