Damn, just bought for $4 each a few days ago.. These are really nice and heavy but also very large, meaning not good for kids just fyi.

Not sure....but I got those mainstay ones and used it. It cuts like it is suppose to cut things. Better than "regular" scissors. 1.78 vs 3.00...I bet they're about the same cut quality.

if you're grabbing a pair for a single cut,( that's one opening of a scissor with one close) once a week, 2 tops. I welcomed the comfort of using the width of my palm through the grips and the strength it allows.
