I bought this from Sam's club last year. It's cool it gets some compliments if your with other people but it was not really loud enuf for what I wanted it for. If you just need some background music in a quiet room it will do . If you plan to use it in a shop or even out doors this ain't it.

I had a Soundesign when I was a teen, I loved that thing. That was back when FM mattered, and local DJ's were celebrities. Boomboxes were everywhere, those were the days.

I do wonder if they put anything into the speakers, usually these novelty devices are the worst. Even if it can't play loud is the sound at least enjoyable? It's a pass for me even for nostalgia's sake.
