People on SlickDeals just give up votes to anything. This TV is ass, as are all Vizio TVs. It's a crap product, from a crap brand that's going to die anywhere between the week you get it, to 3 years. Pure garbage. Stop being cheap. Spend some good money to get a good product. Once upon a time -- we're talking 12 years ago -- Vizio was a lot of bang for your buck. These days, you get what you pay for with this brand. Knock it off. Spend a little more for a better model from a better brand. I'm not being pretentious. Yes, I have an OLED, but I'm not rich. Far, far, far from it. I saved up, though. I just value my money and the work I did to earn it. Stop buying junk. Buy the nice, expensive thing once, and be set for years.

My advice for vipoutlet is be sure to check the item specific feedback...
Currently going through a negative experience (wrong model number, used not new, and they're unresponsive to messages). Looking at feedback, this is rather common.

Anyone have opinions about using this as a computer monitor?

Vizio OS does suck. Google Streamer would be needed for sure to do cool things. Wish there was a decent TV with a good OS at this price.
