With that said, no it's not a solid wood dresser, but it's $40.
The top is solid/sturdy, I have about 50 lbs of stuff on it and it's solid. The drawers are going to be the downside.. they're fabric with a hard insert to give them shape.. if you overload them they'll stretch, but if you don't overstuff them they're fine. Mine still look new, I have one of these full of clothes, one full of random junk like USB cables, cleaning stuff, chargers, etc.. and one with heavier things like tools and they all held up fine.
Cats do seem to like it though, so if you have cats who might scratch it up, it will start to get funky. My cat was very interested at first but doesn't even mess with it now
