Did you just compare $90 tablet to a cell phone?

I own this tablet. For me it works very well for casual couch browsing. The 4gb is not any problem for me, and I'm semi-techy user. It also works fine for me as a e-reader.

Built in storage is low, but microSD makes it easy to expand.

This is the perfect size for me. 10 or 11 inch tabs are too heavy for me for comfortable use.

I also have a Lenovo duet 11" that I had first, and still like, but find myself using the tab one 8 inch much more.

So I recommend this tablet for what it is.

yes, i just got one - i have an amazon HD 10 from like 4 years ago that can just barely do one app at a time. its my wyze camera viewer at home.

im not saying this lenovo is fast, but it is better than the amazon one - usable for a couple basic things at a time if you want to browse web pages or read news or something light.

I am so overdue for a new tablet. My daily driver's slow and has a bloated battery, while my other tablets are (shudders) Amazon Fires.

I call bullshit on 4.3 out of 5 stars rating at Amazon based on 200+ customer reviews....

The specs are just too low, this will hurt to use.... don't do it.

There are better options out their.

Buy SPECS... not brand name.

Try to get a G99 tablet.

Average Benchmarks Mediatek Helio G99 → 100% n=25
Average Benchmarks Mediatek Helio G85 → 62% n=25
So after sharing 25 benchmarks, it shows that the G99 is 61% faster (38/62)

I use to recommend the Lincplus T3 as the cheapest tablet you should buy... but I can not find it anymore on AMazon.

But I did come accross this one... 1. G99 2. 8GB RAM 3. 128GB hard drive 4. IPS screen with 1720 x 2408. FOR $90ish.

DO NOT BUY THIS ONE... you will end up pulling out all your hair!!! I have a LARGER tablet for the same price but is MUCH MUCH faster.

Buying tablets in 2026:

You can get a branded Android tablet that's too expensive for the low specs.

You can get a 6 letter chinese tablet with no support and no idea where it came from, but it's cheap and good specs.

Or just get an iPad. That'll work. And I don't even like Apple products.

Grandpa is too busy out on the front lawn using one hand to keep his bathrobe closed and the other as a closed fist as he shakes it at the clouds.

So happy it works for you... but this may be OK for a techy, but this is NOT OK for the regular joe/jane. It is just too slow. So the CPU is just too slow. And 4gb of RAM is not enough for today, you NEED 8GB of RAM.

Anyone who buys this tablet will have issues with the slowness.

If you like the 8" size you buy the ALLDOCUBE iplay 50mini pro or the iplay 60 mini pro or the iplay 60 mini ultra. You do have options... and this lenovo tablet is not on the list.

For the bare minimum, AND I have been saying this for TWO YEARS... Bare Minimum.... G99/8GB/128GB.

I say "bare minimum" because I want you to have a decent android experiance... I don't want you to buy this Lenovo tablet and then say... NEVER ANDROID AGAIN, cause it is such a POS.

You know Apple never sells this stuff that is SO SLOW!!!
Due to restrictions you can't even get AllDOCUBE in the US (atleast not without considerable mark ups.

No. Better spend extra and get higher ram and storage.. android especially struggles with 4GB memory even for lite tasks.
I got a free Galaxy Tab A9+ from T-Mobile by Metro. It has 4GB, and it multitasks fine. I have ~15 apps open, and memory usage is 2.4 GB/4GB with 935MB available. It's not fully as fast as higher-end devices, but there's no painful lag either. It's a Honda Civic, not a sports car. The Tab A9+ is a great tablet, so I got another one for my teenage son.

My Galaxy S24 smartphone has 8GB RAM, so that's my reference for Android performance.

Due to the current DRAM shortage, 4-8GB of RAM for a tablet may be the norm for the next 6-12 months in the short-term.
