The deal for most people is really $13.32 with subscribe and save. The only way to get the $12 price is if you have five subscribe and save items which is something few people can do.

I'm a one person household and have over 5 every month. Plenty of filler items out there and I change out most items each month. It's absolutely super easy to do and the only way to maximize your savings at Amazon. I don't even entertain the smaller S&S discount unless I need it same day.

I cook 1/2 lb of lentils and add a can of gumbo, often with whatever leftover vegetables are in the fridge and it's a good meal.
