Full HD. Garbage panel. Rest of the specs seem decent.

Last time I had an HP laptop was 2008, not sure if the quality got any better since then but I hated them back then.

You're also going to want a different copy of Windows 11. The LTSC copy works very well. Or just install Linux.

Any opinions on this vs the MSI with the 5070ti that was posted up yesterday? The downfalls of the MSI being heavy with poor battery life aren't a big deal to me as it's a desktop replacement.

This HP is just a better quality laptop, even if you don't care about the battery and weight.

Thanks for that insight. My hang-up is, I'm reading that the Ryzen in the MSI is more powerful (it'll be plugged in at all times), but it only has 16gb of RAM. I can configure this one to have 64gb for a negligible amount, but it's got the Intel, which I'm reading is slower (although much more efficient). This would be a non-issue if RAM wasn't currently a bajillion dollars...
