You can access Epic and Ubisoft on a Steam device. Epic is pretty easy. Just install Heroic Launcher. It automatically adds games to your Steam UI. I use it with Epic, Amazon, and GoG. It has been flawless. Ubisoft is just a bit more effort. You can install that launcher directly or use "nonsteamlaunchers".

You cant run XBox as a launcher on Steam OS. However you can access XBox Cloud Gaming or GeForce Now
went with a used Legion Go and installed steam os, way more relaxing than windows on a handheld. High PPI large screen looks great and sharp.

The price reflects that too, but I like sharp screens....
343 PPI go
315 PPI ally x
260 PPI go s
250 PPI legion go 2
205 PPI steamdeck oled
for reference, phones are around 450 PPI
I would personally prefer a 5070 ti laptop than a go 2 for the $1300

X Variant is cracking up around the buttons defective
I did hear that people who got it day one experienced cracking/creaking nosies but that has been addressed and people like me who got the newer batch do not have to worry.

I am at the point that I can't tolerate windows anymore on my LegionGo 1. There are all sorts of issues with shutdown, hibernate, suspend, etc. I have a Go S with SteamOS. Its time for the Legion Go 1 to go.

SteamOS is awesome on the Legion Go 1. That's what I'm running, and yes windows was VERY stressful on a handheld and had to go, lol

ha, I turned down a $300 one in favor of a slightly higher priced Go 1. SteamOS makes it a whole new stable system, hidden gems out there. Keep adding $50 battery packs for every 2hrs more AAA gaming you want.
