I didn't realize these were the eneloop pro. For those that need high output but shorter battery life spans/quicker shelf discharge, this is a pretty good deal. Just the eight double A's are already 50 bucks. So basically you're getting a simple / dumb charger for free if you factor out the prices of the batteries. I prefer the intelligent chargers with lcd output showing each battery voltage and charging rate (I run opus and nitecore) over the dumb chargers.

Thanks, thats a good deal. Ordered yesterday the charger with 4 AA for $35. Canceled and got this instead.

Seems crazy expensive to me. I know people like Eneloop batteries but are these that much better than the 2300 mah Energizer that I've paid $14 for 4 or less? One 4 pack of eneloop pro is $40 vs $14 for ~300 mAh less.

Seems ridiculous that this is a "Sale price" for 12 batteries and a charger. 8 AA's and 4 AAA's are quickly approaching the price of a car battery, something seems wrong here...
