As someone who got the collector's edition of this on release day and is a huge RE fan, the remake is fine for what it is and it's fun. However, the OG game is still king and has so much more heart and soul, plus it's usually on sale for $5. Once you get used to the tank controls, you're in for a fun ride.

This game is better than the original in every single way. You're just wearing nostalgia goggles. I loved the original, but I would never play it over this.
