True. Perhaps one day Apple will enable DP MST support. It has only been 16 years since it was added to the DP spec. 🙄 Although, I suppose not having MST does encourage their customers to buy the more expensive MacBooks that don't have arbitrary display output limitations, so maybe not? But even if you buy the top spec MacBook pro, you still can't connect to multiple displays over one cable without resorting to external USB video cards like DisplayLink(which add lag). Makes for a messier desk when you have to connect multiple cables to the sides of your laptop just to run multiple screens directly, when even a 10 year old Windows laptop can just plug into one cable and run three screens without an issue.
