Hm this or the Samsung G5 on FP? this has lower latency and built-in speakers, but slightly lower refresh.

Same price at Amazon FWIW

I just bought this monitor upgrading from 1080p. It's a whole new world, would recommend. Might be able to find a good refurbished unit on Ebay.

I recommend never cheap out your monitor. Don't spend $600 on graphic card if you are going to buy $150 monitor

are you saying this monitor is crap? i got a rig awhile ago with a 4070ti but i also dont want to break the bank on a monitor

They're the same thing. The W stands for wide to emphasize that it's the fact that it's a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.
