The brown 12x16 Costco Tarps are 12 mil. I Have one over the Catio for 3 years, and still looking good even with Cats climbing on it often.

5mil is not heavy duty. My cheap harbor freight nitrile gloves are thicker at 7mil.

If you need a tarp that will last years, instead of months, go on ebay and buy a PVC tarp. Of course, they are more expensive but they last 3-5 years.

I'm surprised he didn't mention that all the tarps tested were going to be around 5mil. He also doesn't use thickness as a measure of quality in his final tally.

Todd's videos are great but sometimes his methodology needs improvement.

What about those thick looking woven ones used outside 24x7 at some public venues?

I set up a trap to trap a rat but part of the tarp was part prat so I parted with the tarp to study art with a rat but I fell into a trap covered with a tarp.
