Anyone know if this is a good option for a 3d printer (or two)? I've been getting the occasional fuse blown and while the print continues where it left off after restoring power, it is noticeable on the print when the power went off.

it might be okay to connect a 3d printer but definitely not a laser printer

I just got one (not this brand specifically but same power specs) for my Bambu. My primary concern is to provide the "cleanest" electricity for it. The power demands on the printer can vary depending on the setup. For example if you're printing PLA and have a Cool Plate Supertack, the power requirements are lower and gives you a little more leeway.

Yeah, My Canon Laser printer is in the same room as my 3d printers and when firing up the Canon, that's what at times blows my fuse.

Which one did you end up getting?


I primarily use the Cyrogrip frostbite which needs very little heat. Partially to use less electricity, but also keeps the room I print in from getting too hot - it makes a difference when you have multiple printers running in a smaller size room.

No. It has nothing to do with the waveform and everything to do with the inrush upon start up with will overload most consumer grade UPSes.

wow.. apc 1000va battery backup was like $125 on sale a couple years ago at costco.

glad i got a apc rs800 for $60 precovid.
just buy 2 new batteries every 3 yrs from battery shark.

They were the cheapest back then then.
The end of the current 3yr cycle is this year.
Do another price comparison or just buy from same place because lazy...?

Sure it has the PC comms and such, but from a pure longevity perspective, I'm unsure why you would buy this over an ecoflow LiFePO4 - I haven't met an ecoflow that hasn't sufficiently switched fast enough to keep computers powered.d
