The deal from the link you provided has half the capacity compared to the one listed here, and as such it's thinner by comparison with the trade-off being it can carry less of a charge. Additionally, the featured deal has a built in USB-C cable, whereas your link has an included cable that is detachable, and when removed frees a second USB-C port for use. So you have to ask yourself which trade-offs you prefer, thickness vs size vs built-in cable.

There should be a "Save 49% at checkout Terms" in green on that page (if the discount is still active). Once you checkout, the discount should apply. For those not seeing it, you may have to make sure to select the seller as being INIU Innovations Inc. (and ships from Amazon).

Weird how INIU keeps putting USB-A ports on their portable batteries. Just put another USB-C.

Well I already bought the 20000 cuktech yesterday and I'm too lazy to cancel now especially since this is $3 more unfortunate name aside.

I just looked at the one you mentioned. This one is smaller/more portable. If you care about the size. I imagine the weight should be the same.

Have this one. Highly recommended. Also, good, fast and responsive customer service if you have any issues.

I have one of these. I like the 45 watt charging speed, which is fast enough to keep a large tablet or small laptop running for for a while. The recharging speed is only 27 watts though, so recharging the power bank from 0 to 20000 mAh is kind of slow.

The reason they do that is because there are some devices that aren't able to support USBC negotiation that USBC requires for power delivery. For example I have used battery packs like these to extend the runtime on my Icon mechanics flashlight that actually comes with a USBC connector, but it doesn't have the ability to negotate with USBC controllers. So it actually requires USBA to USBC cable to be able to charge, since it charges at 5v.
Plus it gives those with older devices a connector to plug into using their existing cables. Not everybody has the latest and greatest devices in their hands.

You're right. That reminds me of some of the electronics I have that have a USB-C port but can't charge with a C-to-C cable.

I like this brand and have 2 of the models without the built in cord. Im not a huge fan of these newer models with the cord built in though.
