Well I already bought the 20000 cuktech yesterday and I'm too lazy to cancel now especially since this is $3 more unfortunate name aside.
Ther cuktech supports 20v @ 2.25a. This battery supports only up to 15v @ 3a.

So that might matter for some people in certain cases

I bought this one last month: https://slickdeals.net/f/19009441

It's expired now but it's the same brand and similar functions. The main reason I bought this one is because it allows for charging pass-through when you're charging the battery pack - up to 3 additional items including the pack itself. Testing the pass-through I was able to get my phone to charge at 5350 mA at 60% battery for my pixel 8P on both the USB-C port and the built-in usb-c cable.

It's $35 rn so I don't think it's worth that price but at $20ish when I bought it it's definitely worth it. One less thing to bring when I travel.

The Cuktech 20000 mAh 45W that you're talking about arrived at my doorstep today. That one supports 40W charging (as in, charging the battery itself), while this INIU one only supports 27W -- so the INIU will take noticeably longer to recharge. The INIU one also mentions thermal throttling (in the FAQs), which makes sense since it's denser/smaller. Furthermore, the Cuktech supports passthrough charging (charging itself while charging another phone/device) -- not sure if the INIU does.

Another thing to note is Cuktech is Xiaomi, which is highly-regarded. INIU just had several large recalls on their battery banks sold via Amazon and other channels. Not saying to avoid them; just something to keep in mind. The larger size in this case serves a purpose; the Cuktech barely gets warm even charging my Macbook Pro 14", and charging itself from the wall charger. It's actually rated for 55W (written on the box and on the Amazon page), but it depends on what devices you're using. Most non-Xiaomi devices will be 45W, but it's good to know that it's designed (e.g. thermally) for 55W, so it's not going to be maxed out easily.

Aside from the size difference, I will give INIU points for a braided built in cable vs a "normal"/plastic on the Cuktech. Though the one on the Cuktech is reinforced by a firm piece of plastic at the base, where it meets the top of the battery pack.

I have this and I love how fast it powers my phone and how the built in cord acts as a handle.

You're right. That reminds me of some of the electronics I have that have a USB-C port but can't charge with a C-to-C cable.
You can use a resistor to fix it: https://www.adafruit.com/product/6323

Thanks for that. I might pick one up at Micro Center just to keep in my travel pouch.

Always wonder about the capacity of these things being true or not. That looks very small for a 20k battery, and ultimately they are all using the same chemistry AFAIK. I guess INIU is slightly more reputable than the most nonsensically-named chinese brands but still.. it feels unregulated and dishonest. This could easily be 10k actual capacity which would make it not a good deal. 99% of people wouldn't know the difference.
