Is "Simulated Sine Wave" bad? For a TV? No.
The comment that it is "bad for TV and entertainment" is mostly outdated fear-mongering. Modern TVs, PlayStations, and Apple TVs use "switching power supplies" that handle simulated sine waves just fine. You might hear a faint "buzz" from a cheap speaker or a fan motor while it's running on battery, but it won't damage your TV.
The Real Risk (Gaming PCs): The only time "Simulated Sine Wave" is genuinely bad is for high-end Gaming PCs with "Active PFC" power supplies.
Some aggressive Active PFC power supplies will detect the "simulated" wave as "dirty power" and instantly shut off your PC to protect it, defeating the purpose of the UPS.
If your PC is just for work/browsing, this unit is totally fine.
