I see it's clearly marked down, but it never occurred to me that I strainer or colander cost over $10 to begin with.

I have a larger one that I just keep on the kitchen table with bananas in it. It is decorative, and I use other more functional strainers when I need a strainer. But, this strainer can be used like any other strainer. I think the stylish look along with the powder-coated enamel finish is why these cost more. It is durable, kitchen-grade construction.
